Model History and Information: The F-15SG is Singapore's variant of the Boeing F-15E, selected in 2005 under the Peace Carvin V program and delivered from around 2009. It is a two-seat, twin-engine multirole aircraft with an active electronically scanned array radar and General Electric F110 engines, capable of both air superiority and precision strike, including a maritime attack role. No. 149 Squadron, nicknamed "Shikra," is based at Paya Lebar Air Base and was re-inaugurated on 5 April 2010 as its first jets returned from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, where the joint 428th Fighter Squadron trains Singaporean crews. The squadron reached full operational capability in September 2013. The individual airframe's service record is not independently verified here.
