Model History and Information: The 425th Fighter Squadron was reactivated at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, on 30 December 1992 with an unusual mission: advanced weapons and tactics training for the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Singaporean aircrew and maintenance personnel are posted to the squadron for two years, taking part in Red Flag, firing live missiles at Combat Archer and deploying across the United States for dissimilar air combat training. Known as Peace Carvin II and established in 1993, it is the longest running overseas detachment the Singaporean air force maintains, and it belongs to the 56th Operations Group.
