F-35A "1000th Lightning II" 22-5696, 176th FS, Wisconsin ANG, August 2004 (w/ 2 x B61 nuclear bomb) (1:72 Scale)

Product Dimensions: 8.57 x 5.85 x 2.40 in.

Model History and Information: This model commemorates the 1,000th F-35 produced, a program milestone reached as Lockheed Martin's global fleet expanded across US and partner-nation operators. The airframe is presented in the markings of the 176th Fighter Squadron, part of the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing at Truax Field, Madison, which converted from the F-16 to the F-35A in the mid-2020s. The single-seat, single-engine F-35A is the conventional take-off and landing member of the Lightning II family, combining low-observable shaping, sensor fusion and networked situational awareness to replace F-16s in US Air Force and Air National Guard service. The tail number indicates a recent fiscal-year production aircraft.
