Model History and Information: The F-35I Adir is Israel's customized F-35A, incorporating indigenous electronic-warfare systems, sensors and command-and-control integration layered over the baseline avionics. Israel became the first country to use the F-35 in combat, during clashes with Iran in Syria. The Israeli Air Force operates the Adir from Nevatim Airbase, home to the 140th, 116th and 117th Squadrons. The markings and identity depicted on this model are a fictitious scheme and do not represent a documented operational aircraft, serial, unit or mission.
