F-5E Tiger II J-3033, Staffel 6, Swiss Air Force (re-issue with new box art) (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 7.9 x 7.9 x 2.9 in.
Model History and Information: The F-5E Tiger II is a single-seat light fighter built by Northrop around two General Electric J85 turbojets, prized for low cost and easy maintenance. Switzerland selected the type in the mid-1970s and remains one of the last European operators, flying the Tiger for training, air-policing support and adversary work alongside the F/A-18 Hornet. Serials in the J-30xx block identify Swiss single-seat F-5Es. Assigned here to Fliegerstaffel 6, one of the air force's operational squadrons, this aircraft reflects Switzerland's long-running Tiger fleet, still active from Alpine bases decades after most other nations retired the design.
