Model History and Information: The Boeing F/A-18F is the tandem two-seat version of the Super Hornet, which first flew on 29 November 1995 and entered U.S. Navy fleet service in 1999. VFA-103, the Jolly Rogers, flew the F-14 Tomcat before becoming a Super Hornet squadron in February 2005. Carrier Air Wing 7 began a deployment aboard USS Harry S.
