Flakpanzer V Coelian Anti Aircraft Tank Germany 1945
Model History and Information: The Flakpanzer V Coelian belongs to the last, increasingly urgent German attempts to give armoured columns their own anti-aircraft protection. Rheinmetall proposed a fully enclosed, rotating turret with twin 3.7 cm guns on a Panther chassis. The design never reached series production or combat: a mock-up was made, the armament concept changed during 1944, and work stopped in January 1945. Its attraction to collectors is therefore engineering history, not a battlefield record. The Berlin 1945 label depicts a plausible late-war setting, not a vehicle that actually fought there.
