Product Dimensions: 9.10 x 8.80 x 2.70 in.

Model History and Information: The Grumman A-6 Intruder gave U.S. naval aviation an all-weather, carrier-based attack aircraft able to navigate and strike at low level. The KA-6D was the tanker conversion, essential because it extended the reach of other carrier aircraft through aerial refuelling. VA-35 Black Panthers aboard USS Nimitz in 1975 show how the Intruder family supported the whole air wing, including missions conducted by aircraft other than the tanker itself. The named serial, unit, date and finish on this model identify the individual historical subject represented: Grumman KA-6D Intruder 149951, VA-35 "Black Panthers", USS Nimitz, 1975.
