Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, now KNDS Deutschland, unveiled the system in 2021 as a lower-profile evolution of the earlier Artillery Gun Module. Its two-person crew can fire while the vehicle is moving, a shoot-and-scoot capability meant to reduce exposure to counter-battery fire, and the 155 mm gun reaches ranges beyond 40 km depending on ammunition. Germany's Bundeswehr began receiving series-production Boxer vehicles in September 2009; the Dutch army received its first Boxer only in August 2013. Germany ordered RCH 155 units in 2025, and Ukraine received the first deliveries in January 2025.

Model Features & Details:

Diecast metal construction with plastic detail parts

Pad-printed markings and placards

1:72 scale Boxer 8x8 armoured-vehicle configuration

Eight-wheel drive module represented

155 mm/L52 automated howitzer module represented

Packaging: Supplied in the manufacturer's original retail packaging.
