Model History and Information: The Mirage 2000B is the two-seat trainer version of Dassault's delta-wing fighter; its prototype first flew on 11 October 1980. In July 2005 Brazil bought twelve ex-French Air Force Mirage 2000s, ten single-seat 2000Cs and two 2000Bs, and deliveries ran from 2006 to 2008. The aircraft equipped the 1st Air Defense Group at Anapolis and were retired at the end of 2013, shortly after Brazil flew Mirage 2000s in the CRUZEX multinational exercise it organizes. This model represents a Brazilian Air Force Mirage 2000B, serial 4932, in the markings used for CRUZEX 2013.
