Model History and Information: The 51st Fighter Wing flies from Osan Air Base in South Korea as part of Pacific Air Forces, operating the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the A-10 Thunderbolt II in defence of the Korean peninsula. Stationed just south of Seoul, the wing keeps forces ready to respond at short notice and traces a combat history back to the Korean War. As is common for a fighter wing, one F-16 is finished as the wing flagship, carrying command markings and the colours of its squadrons; 89-2136 wore those markings at Osan in 2019. The Fighting Falcon has been central to the wing's air-defence mission there for decades.
