Model History and Information: The Chengdu J-10 is a single-engine, medium-weight multirole fighter of Chinese design, combining a tailless delta wing with canard foreplanes. The C-model is a further development of the J-10B, distinguished by an indigenous active electronically scanned array radar and an infrared search-and-track sensor. It is cleared to carry the PL-10 short-range and PL-15 beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles, alongside precision air-to-surface weapons. Operated by the People's Liberation Army Air Force, the type equips numerous front-line units and has appeared regularly at national exercises and air shows. It stands as one of China's principal domestically produced fighters in current service.
