Product Dimensions: 5.31 x 6.61 x 1.38 in.
Model History and Information: The Hawker Hurricane entered RAF service in 1937 as an eight-gun monoplane fighter. It equipped RAF fighter squadrons during the Battle of Britain, but the cannon-armed Mk IIC was a later development than the aircraft that fought that campaign. The Mk IIC carried four 20 mm cannon and could also be fitted with bombs for fighter-bomber work. Hurricanes subsequently served in the UK, the Middle East and the Far East. The Mk IIC also served as a tactical and photographic reconnaissance aircraft, extending the Hurricane's wartime roles beyond air defence.
