Model History and Information: International introduced the HX Series on February 1, 2016, at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, presenting it as a line of Class 8 premium vocational trucks built for the severe service industry. The HX520 followed as the fourth model, unveiled in April 2016 at Truck World in Toronto. It pairs a set-forward front axle with the Cummins ISX15 engine and was aimed at heavy haul tractors, construction dump trucks and platform stake or crane bodies. Diecast Masters launched its 1:50 Transport Series in 2018 with HX Series trucks, fitting the tractors with a light bar, a headache rack and a removable Oversize Load sign. This release shows the HX520 day cab tandem tractor in light gray.
