Model History and Information: International's HX Series was launched on February 1, 2016, at the World of Concrete trade show in Las Vegas as a Class 8 premium vocational truck line for the severe service industry. The HX520, unveiled in April 2016 at Truck World in Toronto, was the fourth model and the set-forward front axle version, available as a truck or tractor for heavy haul, construction dump and platform stake or crane work with the Cummins ISX15 engine. HX cabs came with DriverFirst cab air suspension and standard LED lighting. Diecast Masters opened its 1:50 Transport Series in 2018 with HX Series trucks, and this tandem tractor carries a light bar, headache rack and removable Oversize Load sign in a metallic black finish.
