Model History and Information: The International HX Series debuted on February 1, 2016, at the World of Concrete trade show in Las Vegas, where International presented it as a Class 8 premium vocational line for severe service and showed the HX620 among its first three models. The HX620 has a set-back front axle and was offered as a truck or tractor for heavy haul, construction dump and platform stake or crane applications, with the Cummins ISX15 engine. The series also introduced DriverFirst cab air suspension and standard LED lighting. Diecast Masters built its first 1:50 Transport Series releases around HX Series trucks in 2018. This version is the HX620 day cab tridem tractor in metallic blue.
