Product Dimensions: 12.00 x 8.04 x 3.24 in.
Model History and Information: The Shenyang J-11 is a Chinese air superiority fighter derived from the Soviet Su-27SK Flanker and assembled by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. The J-11A designation refers to a later production standard that introduced some Chinese avionics and cockpit-display changes while remaining close to the original Russian design. It is a twin-engine, single-seat type intended primarily for air-combat tasks, with long range and a substantial weapons load. "Golden Helmet" refers to a People's Liberation Army Air Force air-combat competition in which front-line units test their pilots' dogfighting skill; aircraft bearing such markings are associated with that programme, and this release includes a 1/8-scale replica of the gold-painted competition helmet awarded to participating pilots.
