M3 Half-track with M2HB Machine Gun
Product Dimensions: 5.66 x 2.03 x 2.07 in.
Model History and Information: This armored personnel carrier was developed in 1940-41 from the earlier M2 half-track, combining wheeled front steering with a tracked rear for cross-country mobility. Built by White, Autocar, and Diamond T and powered by a White 160AX engine, it carried a driver and about twelve infantry behind riveted armor plate, typically mounting a .50 caliber M2HB Browning heavy machine gun on a pedestal or ring mount. Production ran from 1941 to 1945, with tens of thousands completed across all variants. First committed during the Philippines campaign, it entered its intended service from Operation Torch onward and fought in every major theater. Rugged and adaptable, it remained in service with numerous nations for decades after the war.
