Model History and Information: The MF 8700 S is Massey Ferguson's range-topping high-horsepower tractor series, aimed at large-acreage row-crop and tillage work. The top model, the MF 8737 S, was built from 2017 to 2021 and is powered by an AGCO Power 8.4-litre six-cylinder diesel engine rated at 370 hp, with a maximum output of 400 hp. Drive goes through a Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission for stepless, gear-free travel across its full speed range. The tractor is four-wheel drive and forms part of the wider MF 8700 S line-up alongside smaller-horsepower siblings.
