Mercedes-Benz C-Class 1993 Malachit Green 1:18
Product Dimensions: 9.85 x 3.76 x 3.12 in.
Model History and Information: The W202 was the first Mercedes-Benz model to carry the C-Class name, replacing the 190 (W201) compact saloon in June 1993. Development had begun in October 1986, with Olivier Boulay's design selected in 1989 and frozen for production in January 1990. Built primarily at Bremen and Sindelfingen in Germany, the rear-wheel-drive saloon used a 2,670 mm wheelbase. A station wagon, coded S202, joined the range in 1995. Engine choices spanned four-cylinder, inline-six and diesel units, with AMG-developed C36 and later V8-powered C43 flagship versions. Saloon production ended in June 2000, and total output of the first generation reached roughly 1.85 million units before the W203 succeeded it.
