Model History and Information: UPS, the body builder Spier and Mercedes-Benz jointly developed a new parcel delivery van based on the Sprinter 513 BlueTec with a long wheelbase and a 95 kW Euro VI engine. It was built in three versions, UPS P60, P70 and P80, with different body lengths and a maximum permissible gross weight of 5.3 tonnes, replacing a 7.5-tonne predecessor to cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The first vehicles were delivered in August 2015 and entered service in Germany, Great Britain and Ireland. The driver can walk straight from the cab into the cargo area. On the SIKU model, the driver and passenger doors, the side door of the body and the rear doors open, and the roof can be removed for play.
