Model History and Information: The Mirage 2000D is the two-seat conventional strike version of the Mirage 2000, developed from the nuclear-focused 2000N but equipped for precision attack. French crews used the type in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Libya and the Sahel, making it one of the most operationally experienced variants of the family. Couteau Delta's marking represents that strike-force identity. The model should therefore be read as a modern combat aircraft, not as the earlier Mirage III merely wearing a newer French scheme.
