Model History and Information: The Freightliner Cascadia first went into production in 2007, and in 2017 it received a major design revision for the 2018 model year, which Daimler Trucks North America had unveiled in Colorado Springs in September 2016. The Cascadia range includes Day Cab, Mid-Roof XT and Raised Roof configurations, and the redesigned truck offered a 72-inch Raised Roof sleeper. Optional Aero and AeroX packages added longer side extenders, lower chassis fairings, drive wheel covers and wheel fairings. Diecast Masters lists the 1:50 Cascadia in its Transport Series, which it packages in slide-style cardboard boxes with full-color outer sleeves. This edition is finished in yellow.
