Pakistan Air Force J6
Product Dimensions: 8.01 x 4.92 x 2.12 in.
Model History and Information: China obtained licence rights to the MiG-19 in 1957, and the first aircraft assembled at Shenyang from Soviet parts flew on 17 December 1958. What followed made the Chinese version far more significant than the Soviet original: production for domestic use ran from 1958 into the 1980s and totalled more than four thousand five hundred aircraft, making the J-6 the most numerous member of the family by a wide margin and, for years, the most common combat aircraft in Chinese service. The export version, the F-6, served across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and most of North Vietnam's MiG-19s were Chinese-built.
