Model History and Information: The Panther Ausf. G was the final and most numerous production Panther, built from March 1944 until April 1945. It revised the hull sides and simplified manufacture after the difficult introduction of the earlier D and A models. Its long 7.5 cm KwK 42, sloped armour and good road speed made it formidable, but its complexity and rushed production limited reliability. A useful date correction for collectors is that an Ausf. G cannot be a 1943 production vehicle. The product caption is retained as a marking identifier, not repeated as a historical assertion.
