Model History and Information: Indonesia signed for 42 Dassault Rafale fighters in 2022, becoming one of the type's largest export customers as part of the modernization of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU). The single-seat Rafale EI shown here serves with Air Squadron 12. The Rafale is a twin-engine omnirole fighter able to perform air superiority, strike, reconnaissance and anti-ship missions on the same sortie.
