Model History and Information: The second-generation Subaru Impreza WRX STI received a facelift for the 2003 model year that replaced the earlier round ('bugeye') headlights with a teardrop-shaped ('blobeye') lighting design, along with a revised front bumper and grille. This 2004 example carries that later headlight and bumper treatment, together with a rear STI wing and a bonnet scoop feeding the intercooler. It is finished in Java Black Pearl, one of the metallic finishes offered on the WRX STI during this generation.
