$109.99
SKU HA4326

Model History and Information: The Canadair Sabre Mark 6 was the final and most capable Canadian-built Sabre, powered by the Avro Canada Orenda engine and prized for its climb and high-altitude performance. No.430 Squadron, RCAF, nicknamed the Silver Falcon, reformed in 1951 and flew the Sabre as part of Canada's Air Division committed to NATO in Europe, serving with No.2 (Fighter) Wing at RCAF Station Grostenquin, France. Day-fighter squadrons like 430 provided front-line air defense against a potential Warsaw Pact threat through the 1950s. Wearing the serial 23622 and a natural-metal RCAF finish, this aircraft represents the type in Canadian European service before the Sabre gave way in the Air Division to the CF-104 Starfighter.
