SU-24MR Fencer-E Ukraine Air Force, 7th BrTA, Ukraine War, 2023

Product Dimensions: 13.45 x 9.65 x 3.39 in.

Model History and Information: The Su-24MR is the dedicated reconnaissance member of the Su-24 family, entering Soviet service in 1983, about a decade after the baseline strike variant. In place of the strike variant's attack radar, laser/TV system and cannon, it carries two panoramic camera installations, an 'Aist-M' TV camera, the 'Shtik' side-looking airborne radar and the 'Zima' infrared reconnaissance system, gathering battlefield imagery at low level and high speed. Ukraine's 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade, based at Starokostiantyniv and tracing its lineage to a bomber regiment formed in 1951, operates the Su-24MR alongside Su-24M bombers, using it for reconnaissance and electronic-intelligence sorties during the war with Russia that began in 2022.
