Model History and Information: Fendt is a German farm-machinery brand founded in 1930 by Xaver Fendt in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria, and has been part of the US company AGCO since 1997, which retained the Fendt name and the Marktoberdorf factory. Fendt tractors are recognizable by their green livery and are used across Europe for field, yard, and forestry work. The forestry trailer modeled here reproduces the tandem-axle trailers used behind farm tractors to move felled logs out of woodland: a rotating loading crane lifts and stacks the trunks onto the trailer bed, and the trailer can be unhitched from the tractor once loaded.
