VW T1 Transporter - Oldschool Custom
Product Dimensions: 3.9 x 1.54 x 1.65 in.
Product Weight: 3.8 oz.
Model History and Information: The Volkswagen Type 2, nicknamed the Bulli in Germany, was introduced in 1950 and built first in Wolfsburg and, from 1956, at a dedicated Transporter plant in Hanover. It used the same 1.1-litre air-cooled flat-four engine as the Beetle, mounted at the rear, and became known for its flat front, split windshield, and cult following among collectors. This model reproduces a T1 panel van finished as a customised “Oldschool Custom” build: a matte-and-gloss black two-tone paint scheme, red-orange-yellow flame graphics along the sides, and a lowered stance on black wheels. The body is made mostly of metal, with plastic used for the interior and roof, and an integrated tow hitch is compatible with other siku trailers in the same scale.
